देश की तीसरी हाईस्पीड ट्रेन वंदे भारत एक्सप्रेस एक बार फिर से पटरी पर लौट आई है। एक दिन पहले भैंसों के झुंड से टकराकर ट्रेन का अगला हिस्सा क्षतिग्रस्त हो गया था, जिसे अब ठीक कर दिया गया है। पश्चिम रेलवे के मुख्य जनसंपर्क अधिकारी सुमित ठाकुर ने बताया, हादसे में वंदे भारत एक्सप्रेस ट्रेन का अगला हिस्सा और माउंटिंग ब्रैकेट क्षतिग्रस्त हुए थे, जिन्हें मुंबई सेंट्रल के कोच केयर सेंटर में ठीक कर दिया गया है। उन्होंने बताया, टक्कर से ट्रेन के महत्वपूर्ण संचालन हिस्से प्रभावित नहीं हुए थे। पश्चिम रेलवे के मुख्य जनसंपर्क अधिकारी सुमित ठाकुर ने गुरुवार को बताया था कि सुबह करीब 11.15 बजे वटवा स्टेशन से मणिनगर जाते वक्त वंदे भारत एक्सप्रेस ट्रेन हादसे का शिकार हुई थी। दोनों स्टेशनों के बीच भैंसों के झुंड के रेलवे लाइन पर आने से यह हादसा हुआ था। हालांकि, इस दुर्घटना में यात्रियों को कोई नुकसान नहीं हुआ था। रेलवे अधिकारियों के मुताबिक, हादसे के कारण ट्रेन को कुछ देर के लिए घटनास्थल पर ही रोक दिया गया था, बाद में जांच के बाद ट्रेन को गंतव्य के लिए रवाना किया गया था।
